Palm advisor?? I have pictures!?

Alright We recently bought a palm tree that grows in clusters. The tree is about 5 meters high. Were not sure what it is called. The leaves began to turn yellow after a few days and we ended up cutting. We water them 2x a week. I am not sure how to take care of her. Advice? It looks like a roebelinii Phoenix (Pygmy Date Palm). They need lots of light and regular watering. Do not just not automatically water twice a week, check the soil.
