I need ideas on how to landscape behind my pool without killing my bank account.?
I have a small area back of my pool where there is a good life span, and some grass and weeds. We want to do something with this attractive region, but we do not have much money. It is difficult to mow us because everything that flies in the pool. We pulled the grass a few times but it is frustrating, back breaking work that lasts less time than you think. He pushes rudely fast. I was told not to Landscape with lava rock. What can I use? I need rocks that are large enough that if they are knocked into the pool, they will not be sucked into the vacuum. I 'm for ideas on this point. I live in the DFW area of Texas. We have neighbors all around us, back and sides, then some more something that spreads is difficult. Hey ,,,,, I'm Plano. I had shrubs around my pool. They had to be cut regularly .... Back breaking work. My son and I dug it all. Not really that difficult. I planted "yucca" and "Cactus". They not be watered or cut. They look great and cost very little. I went for a walk in Breckenridge, TX. There are several small roads gravel past Weatherford. You can dig down and cactus. I did. the replanted and they are very good. Also While there, I filled the back of truck with good size stones. Not too big so that you could not raise them. I put red and black lava rock landscape. Put the big rocks everywhere. Looks great. In fact even with the front of the house. I made about three trips to pick up more rocks. They cost allocate money if you buy at Home Depot. All they have cost me gas. I bet I'm about 100 of 'Em Good luck!
